Pierre DeRoche - GrandCliff Countdown
GrandCliff Countdown: keeping time with the sports world 2008 is a symbolic year for Pierre DeRoche ! The heart of Pierre Dubois, founder of the watch brand and former sports teacher, is beating more strongly than ever to the rhythm of his passions. His countdown has been launched!
The first whistle of the Euro 2008 football championships will be blown in the Basel stadium on June 7th. Since football and watchmaking are twin passions for Pierre Dubois, it was entirely natural for him to present his GrandCliff Countdown in this same city at Baselworld 2008. This powerful model is clearly built for action, and the rotating countdown bezel will probably more often than not be set to 45 minutes over the next few weeks!
As of August 8th, with the start of the 29th Olympic Games, sailing connoisseurs will be able to line up the bezel with number 10 while awaiting the starting gun. Others may prefer the thrills of a three-minute boxing round! Whatever their favourite sport, lovers of exceptional watches will doubtlessly appreciate this flyback chronograph, and particularly its day/night function that will help them keep track of the six-hour time difference between Beijing and the Vallée de Joux, the home of Pierre DeRoche!
At Pierre DeRoche, 2008 is set to be a resolutely sporting year of top-flight performances! (swisstime)
