BEDAT&CO INNOVATES WITH THE ‘394’
BEDAT & Cº’s latest creation upholds the brand’s commitment to intricacy in craftsmanship and purity of style.
The development of the 394 timepiece, is an important milestone in William Devine’s strategy for BEDAT & Cº. He has taken a bold step into the future, exploring new territories in watch design, whilst remaining true to the values that form the cornerstone of BEDAT & Cº. The 394 is the latest evolution from the N°3 collection and representative of the company’s belief in developing innovative timepieces inspired by Art Deco traditions with a contemporary expression.
Follow up:
The interchangeable feature of the 394 gives the design of this timepiece a unique and innovative twist. A simple yet ingenious mechanism incorporated into the strap allows the watch case to be removed and replaced with a stainless steel “8” icon, a symbol of luck, prosperity and logo of the BEDAT & Cº company. Meticulous attention has been given to the aesthetics of this particularly feminine piece from the careful design of the dials, the choice of materials and the interchangeable watch case.
Sophisticated and pure, the tonneau-shaped case with integrated crown is delicately curved at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock. The stainless steel watch cases boast four different dial executions and a further two exclusive dials have been designed for the watches featuring black or white diamonds.
As with all BEDAT & Cº timepieces, the case and the crown of the 394 are stamped with the figure “8” maker’s mark and the initials “A.O.S.C.” - Appellation d’Origine Suisse Certifiée (certified label of Swiss origin). They guarantee the Swiss quality of both the components and the expertise involved in each stage of production. (BEDAT & Co press)
