Superlative craftsmanship
From the first in-house sketch to the creation of these treasures, nothing is left to chance. The delightfully contemporary design of the necklace and cuff-watch demand extraordinarily accurate execution. Masterful skills are applied to adorning the white gold settings with brilliant-cut diamonds. The necklace alone, with its 1,673 diamonds, represents 800 hours of work and evokes a sparkling river of light.

Its infinite suppleness enables it to cling to the curve of the neck and to extend delicately down a neckline thus lit up with dazzling brilliance. The cuff-watch also makes a perfect fit on the wrist. Claw setting was the technique chosen for the main elements: by pushing back tiny claws over the table of the diamond, the craftsman releases the stone from the grip of the metal and sets it off to magnificent advantage. Two alternating rows – one with tiny diamonds and the other with larger stones – create an extremely regular and appealing structure.

Graphic design and glamour
While the main motif is distinguished by this structural regularity, the closed-set “pampilles” or slender pendants lend a glamourous touch to this spectacular composition. They adorn the edges of the setting in clusters. On the watch, the entire cuff is adorned with graceful curling diamond motifs, as well as the right-hand side of the dial. The hand-wound calibre driving the hands will also appeal to women with a penchant for mechanical watchmaking. Meanwhile, the “pampilles” ornamentation hanging from the necklace gives it a playful appearance, evoking a kind of Haute Couture dinner jacket on which the strict satin lapel might be tapered into irreverent fringes.
