So it comes as no surprise that the Atlantic brand chose Flavio Marazzi as its ambassador and co-designer of a watch dedicated to sailing enthusiasts.

The talented skipper hopes to win a medal in the Star class at the Olympic Games in Beijing this summer. Expressing his rapport with the evocative name Atlantic, he joined forces with the company to create his own special-edition watch.

The Flavio Marazzi watch is available in two versions: Seashark Blueflag and Seashark Blackrace. The timepiece is powered by a Swiss-made ETA quartz chronograph movement. The crown, the signed caseback, and the pushers are screwed to guarantee extreme water-resistance to 300 meters. The scratch-resistant, antireflection-coated sapphire crystal and the rugged anchor-pattern stainless steel bracelet with a double safety clasp are features that underscore the sailing-inspired personality of the watch.
