The desire to achieve new goals, together with a constant research inspired by the past, have led Armand Nicolet to the creation of a new fantastic example of watch manufacturing. After the huge success obtained by L06 and L07 models, Armand Nicolet is glad to introduce the new L08 collection.

Following the footsteps of the two previous limited editions, the new L08 features a wonderful manual wind mechanical movement called AN0711A. It is a movement created with original components from 1957 that has subsequently been modified by our manufacturing process and gifted with newly evolved technological characteristics. The limited amount of watches produced relates to the quantity of original components from 1957 still available in our factory.

Follow up:

The movement has been integrated with the shock absorbent system called Incabloc and the Swan Neck mechanism of adjustment. This upgrade makes this movement a perfect mix of great Swiss mechanical tradition with the most modern techniques of watch-making. The 18,000 vibration per hour and 18 jewel calibre has been finely decorated with “Côte de Geneve” finishing and embellished by “Perlage”.

Through the sapphire glass it’s possible to admire the beautiful gold engravings reporting the reference number of every watch and the polished blue screws. They all stand out in the splendid finishing of the rhodium plating of the plate and of the bridges. The “Guillochè” dial shows part of the movements with some openings finely created in correspondence to the balance, lever, time-setting and winding systems.
