The S05 collection is the excellent result of a technological challenge launched in the prestige watchmaking sector and accomplished at the highest levels. Without any compromise that might limit design and technical research, the collection achieves a highly developed and original synthesis following the gradual development of studies and tests undertaken by Armand Nicolet with the precise aim of producing a complicated underwater watch with extraordinary features and qualities.

The series is ergonomically formed: a harmonious mechanical timepiece built around the functions of Chronograph, Complete Calendar or highly complicated Chronograph with Complete Calendar. Recently, the basic Day & Date model has been added to these functions.

Armand Nicolet S05

Having taken the inspiration from a famous model of Monsieur Armand Nicolet, produced in the late 30s for the army, the new S05 series presents also today with the black, silvered or cream dials using the characteristic orange luminous inside the indexes, the dots, the Arabic numerals and hands. Also the case back uses the original decorative design, featuring the characteristic Maison Nicolet darting fi sh of the fi rst pioneering and unmistakeable series of underwater watches.

The technology of combining steel and rubber developed and used to protect the turning unidirectional bezel, the time-setting screwed crown and pushers from everyday hits while having a soft grip, is the proof of the technical ability of the Maison and concludes a long design process jointly undertaken by the designers and the expert master watchmakers of Tramelan. With its purpose as a complex sports watch, S05 extends well beyond the moments dedicated to sport and outdoor activities. It comes with a steel bracelet, a rubber band and a calf strap and a special tool to interchange the straps, thus giving the owner the ability to make the right choice for each occasion.
