The new Khaki BASE Jump watches by Hamilton
Hamilton literally looked up to the skies for design inspiration for the new Khaki BASE Jump watches. These robust timepieces may not have a ripcord, but their appearance visually recreates the adrenalin-filled spirit of BASE jumping (jumping with an unopened parachute from a Building, Antenna, Span or the Earth). There is an automatic version containing a 2824 ETA-movement, as well as a sophisticated automatic chronograph with a 7750 movement.
With their bold 50 mm cases and rugged color scheme, the Khaki BASE Jump timepieces give wearers wings when it comes to style.
High-flying functionality
A unique feature of the Khaki BASE Jump Auto Chrono is the chronograph functionality activated via the turning bezel. The Khaki BASE Jump Automatic version also integrates a turning bezel, in this case for an original bi-directional countdown. Both watches use a typeface of the sort commonly found on ‘classified information’ files, ensuring that the looks signal dynamic operation possibilities.
The robust character is highlighted by a protected crown, positioned on the left-hand side of the watch for easy use in extreme situations, and an easy-grip finish on the bezel’s outer edge.

SEA-Touch by Tissot
The SEA-Touch by Tissot uses patented technology to ensure that this watch for divers maintains its high performance at all levels – above and below sea level. Right down to a depth of 200 meters, wearers literally have the sophisticated functionality of this high-tech diving watch at their fingertips. As well as being able to tell the time in two time zones and indicate the depth of the current dive, this timepiece integrates a digital chronograph, thermometer, alarm, perpetual calendar date, compass and divers’ logbook, all activated by touch on the glass.
SEA-Touch fulfils all of the European Norm EN13319 stipulated criteria (divers accessories) - luminosity, shock resistance, anti-magnetism, band solidity and the integration of a time control device. This tactile watch provides a selection of important diving data. When the diver enters the water (minimum depth 1m40), the hands go directly to 9 o’clock. Later the minute hand displays the depth of the dive on the scale around the bezel. The hour hand reveals the speed the diver is moving at in meters per minute on the dial. Excellent visibility comes from highly luminescent material and an effective backlight. Patented technology by Tissot SA on the SEATouch ensures that the rubber-protected pushers have double protection and therefore can operate perfectly underwater.

ZENO-WATCH BASEL - NIDOR - Pocket watch for the wrist
Good things always come in threes. And here it is - the third pocket watch for the wrist. Following the success of the models “Anniversary” and “Record” the Basel watchmakers have created a further highlight for collectors and enthusiasts. Thanks to the contacts of the owner Felix Huber we have been able to acquire very special watch movements from the 1920s.
Around 1918, the firm Buser & Cie in Niederdorf in the valley of Waldenburg near Basel developed the NIDOR 8-day mechanical watch movement for the automobile industry. This could be mounted on the dashboard or at the centre of the steering wheel. Unfortunately, sales were not good and production was thus stopped. Until 1965, when the company was taken over by MSR-Holding, the on-board movements were thought to have been lost. It was only in the year 2000 that Roland Buser designed a matching silver pocket watch-case for the movement, which has now been redesigned as a pocket watch for the wrist.

NIVREL presents Special Edition « Red 12 Automatic »
Within the Edition Classique – one of four editions of the NIVREL collection – the already popular concept of the red-coloured 12 on the dial is published in a rather plain, three-handed automatic watch.
For the last couple of years, two NIVREL models have shown a red 12 o’clock indication on their dial: The ‘La Grande Manuelle Red 12’ and the ‘Répétition Classique Red 12’. The design of the disctinctive 12 is inspired by aviation watches of the older days. Today, the red 12 is an allegory for the spirit of its owner who shows love for the detail and has the sense for small extraordinary specialties.

Breitling Navitimer 125è anniversaire BR9963
In celebrating its 125th anniversary, Breitling is reaffirming its passion for chronographs more powerfully than ever, by reminding people of the key role the brand has played in developing this type of instruments.
But the history of Breitling is also closely intertwined with that of aviation, thanks to the cockpit instruments and pilots’ chronographs that have made the company the “official supplier to world aviation”.
The most famous of these instruments for profes-sionals is undoubtedly the legendary Navitimer chronograph, with its circular slide rule designed to compute all airborne navigation calculations. The Navitimer “125e Anniversaire” is a highly distinctive version of this cult-object, specially de-signed by Breitling to mark the company’s five quarter-centuries. This limited edition of 2,009 pieces is distinguished by a particularly understated and dynamic aesthetic.

Frédérique Constant Maxime Manufacture Automatic
Frédérique Constant is proud to introduce its new Maxime Manufacture Automatic. In addition to the successful Heart Beat Manufacture collection, Frédérique Constant now announces a new chapter in its history of in-house developed movements.
Five years ago, in 2004, Frédérique Constant entered the elite circle of Swiss watch brands that develop and produce their movements in-house. The successful introduction of the Frédérique Constant Heart Beat Manufacture was a giant leap for this young and innovative Geneva-based brand, which further secured and underlined its independence.
Still today, no other Swiss, classical watch brand in the Accessible Luxury-segment has achieved a similar development of producing its own movement. This year, Frédérique Constant continues to innovate with its new Maxime Manufacture Automatic. With the all-new, in-house manufactured FC-700 caliber, the brand shows once again its level of sophistication in the field of technical know-how and movement production.
