Longines 175 Diamonds
This year, La Compagnie des Montres Longines Francillon SA celebrates 175 years of uninterrupted watchmaking history.
To commemorate this jubilee – and for the good fortune of ladies above all – the brand with the winged hourglass has designed a special lady’s watch that bears witness to its aesthetic heritage and historic penchant for elegance. Produced in a limited series of 175 pieces, this jewel-watch is adorned with 175 diamonds and celebrates with great refinement the anniversary of the company, located in Saint-Imier.

During the course of its long history, Longines has devoted constant attention to the aesthetics of its timepieces. Longines, a traditional watchmaker, has always striven to add a touch of refinement to its articles and has seen elegance to be one of its guiding principles. Faithful to its history and desirous to honour its stylistic heritage, it now offers a jewel-watch that is truly the heir to the firm’s vocation for classicism and refinement: the Longines 175 Diamonds.
This watch takes its inspiration from a piece created by Longines in the 1920s – a golden period as regards feminine refinement. Taking the form of a rectangular case in 18-carat white gold, this example of the nonetheless timeless elegance claimed by the firm is adorned with decorative knots around its border. The face delicately displays the black steel hands and is protected by a scratchproof sapphire glass. Fitted with a glossy white leather strap, the timepiece epitomises and renews Longines’ historic aesthetic values. In addition, the maison with the winged hourglass has endowed this magnificent piece with a dazzling array of 175 0.671-carat Top Wesselton VVS diamonds to commemorate the years the firm has been committed to providing watchmaking excellence in the world of elegance.
