LOUIS MOINET SPIROSCOPE
The mechanical self-winding Spiroscope model by Louis Moinet highlights the oscillations of the balance which is visible through its added bridge. The latter is a modern version of the famous “balance-cocks” made by 19th century French watchmakers, and which were fastened with screws so as to decorate and protect the movement.
Its round, pure and powerful new case houses an exceptional mechanical self-winding movement. The caseback reveals an unexpected vision with the entirely original oscillating weight shaped like the “Côtes du Jura” ® motif. It winds in both directions and its oscillations are highlighted by a superimposed shield bearing the Louis Moinet symbols. (Test/Foto: Louis Moinet Press)
