REF. 867: THE MASCULINE CHRONOGRAPH BY BEDAT&CO.
First launched in 2004, the N°8 collection regroups the “round in a cushion shape” watches by BEDAT&CO. The figure 8 – also the brand emblem – is extremely meaningful in many different cultures, symbolizing in particular eternal unity or prosperity. It also evokes the shape of the hourglass, itself a symbol of the flow of time.

Ref. 867 perfectly embodies the evolution in the appearance of BEDAT&CO timepieces since the arrival of William Devine as CEO in 2007. The brand is revisiting its classics and its codes in order to reaffirm the very foundations of its reputation: a pure design equally only by the complexity of its construction.
An authentic chronograph. This new reference is the largest model in the N°8 collection. The crown integrated within the case is protected by a steel bridge linking the two pushers on the right-hand side of the case. As with all BEDAT&CO watches, the crown of Ref. 867 is struck with the figure “ ” maker’s mark and the A.O.S.C. emblem: Appellation d’Origine Suisse Certifiée (certified label of Swiss origin). Both guarantee the Swiss origin of not only the components, but also of the expertise applied to each stage of production. Ref. 867 is equipped with a self-winding ETA 2894-2 movement.
Sophisticated and sporty: design dedicated to sophistication. Resolutely contemporary and sporty by nature, Ref. 867 carries its black dial with great distinction. The hour and minute counters, at 6 and 9 o’clock respectively, are framed by a steel-colored applied “ ”. This key element in the BEDAT&CO identity along with the hour-markers and hand all glimmer according to the way the light strikes them. The two main counters are also subtly highlighted by a guilloché motif, while the dial base itself features a smooth matt finish. The discreet seconds counter is positioned at 3 o’clock, while red and orange accents on the minute circle and main counters lend a particularly dynamic touch.
With this new chronograph, BEDAT&CO displays its expertise in destructured and understated design. The energy and the strong presence of the brand’s identity codes make this a truly unique timepiece. (Bedat & Co. press)
